Doug & Meg Kinney

Doug Kinney  is the former lead singer of The Suns of Jubal and Meg Kinney  is the former lead singer of Earth Radio. 

Doug & Meg perform as a duet with Doug on guitar and vocals and Meg on vocals and flute, but they are sometimes joined by other musicians on bass, drums, guitars and woodwinds. 

They mainly play their own compositions but they also play covers by some of the artists they love such as Dylan, Neil Young, Bob Marley, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, and The Police, to name a few.  The makeup of their set lists depends on the venue they are playing at. 

D&M often play music at the church that Doug pastors in Sag Harbor NY, called Hamptons Christian Fellowship. They have a strong Christian faith which is naturally expressed in their music.  

Before becoming a Christian, Doug was a Rastafarian and so reggae music is part of their repetoire. In fact, Doug & Meg's latest album, "Waiting For the Kingdom" contains 10 reggae songs that have Christian & Biblical themes.

Although they play songs that have spiritual themes they also play songs that are about every day life, including some of the songs Doug wrote and played with The Suns of Jubal. 

Doug is planning on releasing some of the Suns of Jubal songs on all streaming platforms and Doug & Meg are currently recording an album of songs entitled "Walking Dunes," most of which have to do with the East End of Long Island.
